Alan seems to have aged rather well as a vocaliist. If anything, his style sounds more disciplined than in 1989, similar to how it sounds on Michael LePond's solo album. It was cool to see that the writing on this EP was such a group effort too.

I love the opening riffs, especially on Doug's bass, on "Arguments Against Design" so much. He made a nice lyrical introduction to the EP too.
