Another album better than I expected:



Tell Me What I Don't Know, Ain't it Funny and When it Rain all sounded like instant classics if I'm being honest, colour me surprised

I read up that 'Get Hi' was meant to be bad but I think it's a decent tune, well worked Cypress Hill throwback

He purposely aims for 'either love it or hate it' so I suppose it is an acquired taste

I know it sounds strange but his vocals get away with being hit and miss for some reason, the features help of course, but I think there's a likeable quality that wins you over :/



Could his vocals benefit from being a bit more varied? Yes. Does it stop this album working? No.

Prod on this on general is killer... there is a voodoo funk ala Dr. John feel all over this.

my only beef with this at all is that i wish he did his mellow raps a little more. hopefully we get more of that in the future. album still rules.
