Also, this month has been STACKED with good music. Touche Amore, Dear Hunter and probably this will all make my top 10, if not top 5.

Great review. Especially considering all the other distractions right now. I listened to the first two songs on my way to work and I was surprised at the quality. I'm really only a fan of Ocean Avenue, and then random songs from the other releases.

Sowing, I absolutely hated that Strumbellas album you loved, but this review is still convincing me to give this one a try.

I'll admit that strumbellas record wasn't as good as I thought. I still jam the catchiest tracks from it fairly often though.

And thanks Willie =)

Album's probably gonna grow on me but you're right Sowing, it's up there with Ocean Avenue and Southern Air for me.

Do labels search out reviewers they know will most likely give positive reviews? Cause most advanced copies seem to be received well. Also awesome review sowing

Kind of annoying that metacritic's excerpt from this review cuts out half of the sentence it is taken from and makes my writing sound choppy. Oh well, still glad it was used at all I guess.

First go through and this was great, will have to listen more to give a better rating of it. But Fields & Fences is just, the perfect way to end it.

4.9 for new Banks
4.1 for new Opeth
5.0 for new Yellowcard?

What is going on with the staff reviews right now?

New Opeth is a hard 1.5

This is definitely one of Yellowcard's best albums though.

Listened to this twice tonight because I was intrigued by Sowing's passion for this. And I was pleasantly surprised, while not being blown away. Glad to see that one of your favourite bands has made their last album a classic in your eyes, which is probably all that matters.
