musically it's not

musically it's boring af. I'm just saying the clearly pretty weak vocal performance reminds me of that era of bmth since that's the most glaring example of a singer not being able to sing his own shit I've heard

Vocalist definitely holds their own, part of the reason I have this a 4.

Yeah after listening to this and then Teenage Haze, this album doesn't compare. Teenage Haze just had the grooves, moodier bass lines, song structure, melodic/emotional guitar lines, while this album just lacks that instrumentation from Teenage Haze. Teenage Haze is their opus in my opinion and that's where they found their sound. Their first LP was bogged down by the production. All in all, it's not a terrible release, but I'm feeling like they didn't give it their all on this album.

I like this more than Teenage Haze. Not to say that album isn't great because it is, I just feel like there's more emotion behind this one.

First album is my fav or second fav hardcore release so that will always be my fav.

this one is heavier on the emotion, but id say Teenage Haze is my favorite as well, by a very small margin. it does have more dynamics and creative guitar work, and the songs are more distinguishable. Teenage Haze > Death = Losing Everything imo.

Just thought I'd mention that the comma in the title of this album shouldn't be there.

They could have put parentheses instead.

Parentheses in album titles are the worst.

How about Death Touches Us... From the Moment We Begin to Love

I think the comma looks cooler

OK, then scrap the parentheses. Just get rid of the comma.
