Nice review- just misspelled 'RuBe Goldberg' in the recommended tracks and comments.
Loving this from start to finish, too soon to know if it will knock Maps off its perch for my fave though.
I love it more every listen, the singles grew on me hard and this is no exception as a whole.
Definitely not as "instant" as Maps, which is probably a good thing in the long run.

i got used to the vocals a few tracks in, used to really hate em but they suit the style pretty well. I will agree the end drags a little cuz it became background noise a bit. Kick ass regardless.

@tcat84 so do you think this album transcends genres? And you admitted the Vektor's genre isn't up your alley so don't you think is def the biggest reason you can't get into it in the first place? I've tried some of the highest rated reggae and country albums on Sput and found it hard to 100% dig them but I don't disregard them simply because I didn't find that they "transcended genres"; how does something even transcend genres? I got nothing against your opinion at all, just wanting a little clarification and playing the devil's advocate
