It's not that you have contrarian opinions, it's that you often leave them unsubstantiated then get extremely defensive when people dare to disagree with you. The whole site isn't out to get you, nor does it suffer from some group think (circle jerks about some albums/artists, sure) that you have to nobly fight against. If you addressed criticism with evidence, I hardly think people would be so negative towards your opinions - you'd at least get to a point of agreeing to disagree.

In any case, you've already admitted to your self-defeating, "what's the point anyway" attitude, so I guess I can see you don't care about substantiating your claims, despite the frequency and intensity with which you insult those who disagree with you.
