worst chorus on rumours is easily second hand news but the rest of that song is so good and its perfectly utilized within that context

I will not hear a bad word said against Second Hand News

second hand news slaps

Yeah I love second hand news. I learned from Lewis plane to especially love the first three songs on this album. The chain and I don’t want to know are the other highlights for me. Crazy that songs 4 and 5 are both so iconic too

i mean i adore second hand news too its j the secret sauce to it is the outro and the verse, not really the "bow bow bow bow do do do do" part lol

lmao i love that bow bow part. its dumb but fun

oh its so fun and again perfectly utilized, its just when every other song has an amazing hook something has to be the worst (altho tbh still probably better than the one on dont stop upon reconsideration)
only even bringing it up because aint no fucking WAY i dont want to know has the weakest. perfect songwriting every second of that one

Somehow never listened to this in full until a couple of weeks ago.
It might have Rumours beat if 'Dreams' and 'The Chain' didn't exist.

Landslide is top 50 of all time but this band can get to fuck.
They are the most overrated there ever has been

Why must you say these things, zak? =[

Band have grown on me massively over the years.
Reading the above debate...'Don't Stop' is the worst chorus and full song on 'Rumours'. Sounds like Abba, enough said, naff 'plinky plonk' shite.
It's the main reason I could never 5 'Rumours'.

They are a band that I’ve always felt would click with me on some level over the years, certainly when I was in my thirties but nope. Each and every time it’s lightweight drek.
Landsilde is absolutely magnificent though.

Male/female interplay romantic angst - there's actually not too much competition at the top of the pile, certainly not many as consistent.

I kinda like it
