I enjoyed the singing on Solider, Lost in the Machine, and World on fire.

Solider and Lost in the Machine spoke to me.

"And the god that you worship is false" (Lost in the Machine)

--True of all westerners.

They worship at the foot of the woman since 1880s (when taking girls as brides was banned).

As an Yngwie fan, I'm literally laughing as I listen to this. You might as well just build a scale-shredding robot and hit the "go" button. It would be the same thing. He didn't even attempt to write songs on this album.

That might be the first article I've ever read that doesn't mention Yngwie's collection of Ferraris

Yngwie is the ultimate ego douche. It made him great, but it's also what's preventing him from creating relevant music in 2017.

There's a video on YouTube of Yngwie being interviewed in his studio, and he's literally got a pile of cream Strats laying in the corner of the room. He picks one up and shreds on it for a few then just puts it back on the pile. Dozens of Strats, just laying in a pile not in cases or anything. The arrogance is unreal.

Right up there with "Pharmabro" Martin Shkrelli, really.

Haha yeah I know the video. It pisses everyone off.

"Oh this? It's an original '57 Strat. All original. One of a kind. The only one with Hendrix jizz on the strings."

*tosses it out the window and it lands in the passenger seat of his convertible Ferrari 360 Modena*

new single Blue Lightning is a trash fire. everything sounds super fake and the song is boring af. I know nobody cares about lyrics in an Yngwie song but I think these might be the worst of all time.

"like a lightning from a blue sky

never see it coming

bolt of lightning from a clear sky

blue lightning

like a snake hiding in the grass

don't wanna taste its poison

like a lightning from a clear sky

blue lightning"
