Create new playlist > Add all Cocteau Twins LPs > Add all Cocteau Twins EPs > Shuffle > Play.

A day full of amazingly dreamy music, with the occasional 80s-gothic punch.

Yeah they've certainly got those vibes every now and then.

Still can't really get into them, Dead Can Dance. Maybe I should try once more, they seem like my thing. But that's what I always think...

I still have to find another CT album I love like this album. Garlands often has weak structured songs far below the average post-punk (yes they were on that album) album even though I like the sounds and the atmosphere, and Head Over Heels was disappointing too, many songs are just too repetitive.

I wish I can find a second album of them I love. And yes DCD is a great band btw.

But did you try Heaven Or Las Vegas and/or Treasure and/or Blue Bell Knoll? Those are all better than Garlands and Head Over Heels in my opinion, and some of them are better than this.

A gorgeously calm album with some of their best tracks. Deserving of the fave-label for sure.

I should re-listen to the rest of this: once I put "lazy calm" on my studying playlist it quickly became all I remembered

โ€œLazy Calmโ€ is amazing but most of the rest of this, while very good, is a tad too drifty for me.
