Yeah they wrecked it live.

Saw them in a venue of about 300 people and it was hectic.

Same, they played with Skeletonwitch and it was their last show last year. They sprayed champagne and beer everywhere and in the end started playing a few Kvelertak songs together it was awesome.

I saw them live back when they were supporting Truck Fighters!

Also, songs from this album sound waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better live.

I'm still bummed Ballou didn't produce this, but he was probably busy with all that YFM redux shenanigans.

I really can't stand this album, it's boring and cheesy and sounds like shit. I was surprised so many people loved it. It made me really nervous to see them live after the singles were released. Definitely, agree the tracks are better live, but it's still nothing close to what they had done previously. Great live band, bad album.

1985 is pretty bad but i like everything else quite a bit. it's definitely not as good as the s/t (duh) but still jams

I don't mind the songs, the production just makes me ambivalent which is why I've been hesitant to rate this.

well, to be fair it's really hard to match the s/t's production

Production on Meir was on point as well.

i was more impressed for the production on the more vicious-sounding s/t but meir sounds great too. i don't mind the production on this either, though

Mhm. Meir and the s/t are almost the same for me, both in terms of production and songwriting. This one has solid songwriting as well but the production bothers me sometimes.

Idk guys, this is really growing on me. I think you are all overthinking this, it's just a very fun, catchy album. Doesn't have as much balls or intricacy maybe, but such a great listen. I think if they chose a better first single (1985 is probably the worst on here), people might have a different view of this album.

I don't mind the album songwriting wise (except for 1985 which is a dud), it's just the production that bothers me. These songs slay live.
