are you nuts? In Bloom cover is very unexpected and stands outs on the record, impossible not to react to it... it's a concession to promote the album but nevertheless the best Nirvana cover I can remember. Breakers Roar is my favorite track on the album.

it fits, not until the chorus I recognized it was Nirvana's "in bloom", and most importantly it does the job of making us talk about the album

Well i mean, so would a track of a guy slapping his dick against a MIDI keyboard and shouting out obscenities in french, that doesn't really mean much in the long run because every song is supposed to get you talking about an album.

thats why its an album in the first place.

I gotta agree with clover, the Nirvana cover is out of place, and honestly just pretty fuckin boring

Not sure I was ready for a country rendition of a Nirvana song on a Friday night

"Oh Sarah" is so beautiful, song brings intense feels.

Wish you'd speak the words those eyes are trying to say...

Contender for AOTY for sure, this is the best thing I've heard all year besides Vektor's Terminal Redux.

It pleases me that this has gotten over 100 votes and maintained a 4 average, more Sputnikers embracing country!

This is probably my third favorite of the year. If In Bloom wasn't on it I would easily 5 this.

not bad, but doesnt really do much or fit in like the cover of The Promise did on the last album.

Even though I really like In Bloom myself, I agree it's the weak link on the album and the main reason I still prefer Metamodern Sounds to this. The problem is that from a lyrical perspective it just doesn't really fit in the album that well (unlike The Promise, which fit perfectly with Metamodern's theme of love) and as a cover, while better done than the majority of covers, it is simply not perfect like The Promise was.

I dont usually go for this type of music, but something about this is ... relaxing.
