Used to find him somewhat humorous with his worst songs of the year lists but he hasn't been funny for at least 2 or 3 years now, his ranting is just so boring and inflammatory now.

Not too surprising. I've been listening to her stuff since Colour The Small One (probably my favourite of hers) & her catalog's kinda uneven, if that makes any sense.
Oh yeah, and believe it nor not, I've seen 'worse' album covers. Even though I don't mind it too much these days, anyone remember Anberlin's cover for Lowborn?

I didnt think it was a beyond awful cover at all, it was just kinda eh looking from a band with really kick ass covers.

It's not even that which is the problem, he just seems to have this idea that pop stars aren't allowed to express feelings at all. Like his reasons for saying "alive" was an awful song amounted to the fact that "Sia is succesful, she doesn't have insecurities shes playing you" and "Pretty Girls" was like, iggy is ugly and it makes this song bad. And also that Bieber isn't allowed to say that he's going to be a better person or that he feels sorry for what he did before because he "shouldnt of become famous then".



Not to forget that time he ripped Haylee Williams a new one on Ain't It Fun when he said she was a whiny bitch because she is super succesful and has no idea what "the real world" is and then Haylee had to come out herself and say the song was about the challenges of her recent move to a new state and having to leave behind members of her band and Buckley just said she was "saving face."



The guy is a complete moron.

I'll add to the choir and say that the album art is painful to look at.

And goddammit, I've only listened to Alive a few times and when she stretches her voice to the absolute limit, it legitimately hurts my ears. Impressive, yes, but I'm not going to listen to that. I listen to pop music because it easy on the ears. If you make pop music and make it not easy on the ears, you're doing it completely wrong. The public agrees too, as Alive flopped hard on the Hot 100.
