If you cut Bullet to the Brain, that unnecessary instrumental, and The Emperor, and just kept this to one continuous savage piece of political commentary, this could have been so much better. Still a solid listen, but nothing special unfortunately

I like this one for some reason, it's full strength Mustaine so: conspiracy theories, politics, almost a concept album, ridiculous cover art, sense of mania in the intense tracks

Full strength Mustaine is a great way to put it doof. I think the songs are strong Megadeth, certainly this century Megadeth. Everything about it the guitars, the Adler drumming, Dave’s favorite subjects.
Songs like Poisonous Shadows, Threat is Real, Lying in State, Death From Within, Fatal Illusion are razor sharp

15. Super Collider (1.5) [not much to salvage but also I didn't think it was a 0.5-1 rating]
For me a 3.5 equals 'excellent' and a 3 equals 'genuinely actually good' - but peeps could add a .5 to my ratings here really to fit the rating descriptions (4 equals 'excellent' according to sput etc)

first three songs are really solid, and "lying in state" is probably my favorite song here. but the rest is just the band going through the motions, albeit very tight and well-played motions. this is definetly one of megadeth's heaviest releases.
