very very underrated here
this review kind of confuses me. I mean different strokes and yadda yadda but are we listening to the same album? "Posturing" "gimmick" "tropes"? Really? It's just good music man, I really don't think he's trying to be anything he's not. It feels so genuine and lively to me. It's such a great album idk. Got my tickets for a show in September and it's going to be so gooooood! It really is too bad that you don't enjoy this but oh well, I suppose I like it enough for the both of us.

This has grown on me a lot. I snagged an extra ticket from a friend to see him in Toronto tonight so I decided to listen to this and Venice for the last week or so in preparation. This one has grown the most. Venice is also good, but the last half of the album really has little to no standouts.
