I think this is on par with Prehistoricisms, but Ill wait until the hype goes down. Valley of Smoke is a bit better than Void, but I was not disappointed with Habitual (it has Milk Leg)

The last one had The Welding, A Sore Sight for Eyes, and Eventual. Can't say I cared much for the rest.

It's either Fast Worms or Gerrymandering that's my favorite off this, I can't decide.

A couple of suggestions:
You have a couple sections that are redundant and read awkwardly. Avoid using similar words consistently, especially in the same sentence (see paragraph one: sentence five).
When an album has only seven songs it seems silly to break it into halves, especially when you are going to mention two out of the three (or four) as great. I would just point out which song seems slow or less than impressive if you're going to do that.
My last comment is this reads as almost an average album. You talk a lot about the tracks themselves and what they bring to the album rather than what the band does better than their peers. Especially given the band's catalog and the current rating, there must be something really specially about this album. I would spend the majority of this review praising what they do exceptionally rather than just commenting on things that are staples of the genre and how they meet those requirements.
Just a couple thoughts. I'm definitely planning on checking this out.
