Yes it's predictable, yes it's formulaic, but the execution is perfect, they're into this shit completely. Lovely band to discover, especially with their last 2 albums being their best, that's a pretty rare find. Bummer that the female vocalist left tho, definitely prefer Heike to the old/new one

Agreed Dark. Curious Hawks as to what exactly do you find underwhelming about this record? And what's ur Godless Veil rating then compared to this? To me they're about neck and neck, with this having a slight edge due to consistency

This album is a bit more interesting than the next one arrangements-wise, just a bit though.

Stellar Tombs is a great song but other than that nothing here really grabs my attention. Definitely my least favorite by Draconian.
