I did NOT like it at all first time round (new album is my introduction to these guys btw), but fuck me as soon as it made its way back to the begining again life experienced a complete 180 and it's brilliant.

oh yeah new album is stellar, might be their best. The instrumental bridge in Dream Shade grooves so hard, and DoubleSleep's high note destroys me

Ooooohohoho this is good. I think LAL held the #1 spot for so long because of nostalgia for my life at the time, but this is edging it out. This is REALLY strong. In fact, the singles might even be the weakest tracks here, but that's just relative, because every one here is killer. Not a big fan of the last track I guess, but maybe that'll grow on me.

But the instruments are as tight as ever, and Joey's got some really catchy melodies. This is better than expected.

I can see why Shadowboxing might not be everyone's cup of tea but I love it. Perhaps they could have expanded on it a bit but I still love that chorus to death.

last track is fantastic, the band has always crushed it on softer stuff.

but mostly the bridge of Dream Shade is among the best moments they've ever done, I cannot get over it. I think Burial Vows and Dimensions are just OK but they might grow

'it might be time for my first review in years, I know new Glassjaw dropped but I only want to listen to this'

Yeah I hate it when 2 banging albums drop at once, makes me so torn on what to listen too.

I still have Dear Hunter to listen to but I just wanna listen to this. And I kinda want to review it but it's hard to not just be like ooo pop + math = perfect without sounding like a fan girl

Dimensions and Burial Vows have some top tier choruses. Both are up there for me.

The new album is so infectious O.o

I'm a bit obsessed with the vocal hook at the start of Dream Shade, DoubleSleep is also amazing.

Isn't it just lovely to happen upon these guys for the first time? Mine was with Love Always, Leviathan. They just keep getting better. One of the better kept secrets in any number of the genres they might fall into.
