I said it before and I'll say it again: watching two senior citizens dressed up as a Jawa and the Kool-Aid Man go about their daily business is more exciting than much of what comprises this album. I ought to be kinda lucky this wasn't my first exposure to the band.
The Sound of Violence is a pretty good track - and the less said about Writings on the Wall, the better.

This review feels kind of rushed and formulaic, but I can't disagree with the rating. I'd 2.8 if possible. They still have the knack but they misfired hard it seems. As a fan, I still find many enjoyable moments but never before have I had any legitimate cringe moments in listening to them quite like I have this time. Pretty big letdown.
