Fell in love with this album hard. It's high points are right there with the previous three for me right now.

Saw them live around halloween. It was otherworldly seeing Andy play.

Man, so jealous. I don't know how many times I watched songs on YouTube from the DVD, especially Sleepless Nights, what a performance.

Yeah there were a few of us in the audience who were clearly just floored to be in these legend's presence lol.

Forgot how awesome this is.

Them > The Eye > Voodoo > everything else King Diamond

The Graveyard is one of his worst

fixed, respectfully

For starters, Voodoo has the heaviest sound work found in a '90s King Diamond album.

I've only heard the first five (which all rule) and Give Me Your Soul (which is good and a bit underrated). Gotta jam the others soon.

Voivod you are correct about The Graveyard. I think Kings most underrated album by a landslide is The Puppet Master. Album is amazing. I correlate Cradle of Filth’s latest with it as they have a lot of similarities.

To be honest, I haven't gone past The House of God due to personal saturation with the band and other bands/genres rivalling for my attention, but I take your word about The Puppet Master, I remember reviews of the time dubbing it the heaviest King Diamond album.

In that light, I speculate that Voodoo is easily second heaviest.

Puppet Master is probably his most accessible in terms of hooks and catchy choruses without damaging the integrity of....the darkness
