Not to mention the innumerable bands where the primary songwriter/lyricist isn't even the lead singer. do the words they sing mean less?
|
| |
also like 80% of hip hop the beats arent made by the rapper
|
| |
and what about hiring session musicians?
your argument is disintegrating Loli
|
| |
it takes a village to raise a hip-hop star*
|
| |
he never had an argument to begin with he just had a butthurt ramble
|
| |
It's a very strange thing to be butthurt about.
|
| |
agreed

LordePots you just don't get it so stop trying, seriously.
@ Johnny
As long as the singer and performers are in the same band or at least close on a non-profit-base it's still something different imo. Still can be good even if the lyrics were written buy the drummer or whoever. But honestly if I think about it, best lyrical and vocal delivery I can think of are mostly by frontman who write it on their own (mewithoutyou, Brand New, etc.).
Nothing wrong with session musicians. Read what I said: Making music is a craft, nothing wrong with that. Creating it is the art behind it though.
Also I've never been butthurt about anything (although Lordes stupidity starts to piss me off). Enjoy whatever you want. If you look back at my starting post I actually just asked a question.

yeah ur an expert at that

@lolifant the only person who doesnt get it itt is you. but its hilariously ironic that you expect any of us to take your obnoxious rants seriously but when someone addresses your comments you deflect with bafflingly idiotic retorts like that
|
| |
@loli - so imagine this:
you hear a song.
the song sounds great.
you have a number of reasons for loving it, maybe some emotional significance or whatever.
you find out later that the performing artist didn't write it (!!!)
does that really devalue everything you felt before?
|
| |
Yes. He will no longer feel anything. Connections to the song are severed forever.
|
| |
But honestly if I think about it, best lyrical and vocal delivery I can think of are mostly by frontman who write it on their own (mewithoutyou, Brand New, etc.).
but both those bands are bad so that kind of ruins your point
|
| |
lolifant logic:
loli: "~dumb comment~"
someone else: "thats dumb"
loli: "ur stupid im mad"
|
| |
You'll get through this

@ Lorde
Until your last comments you didn't "adress" anything but were just ranting stupidly. LoL @ Brand New and mewithoutYou being bad. Conversation can't progress in any way from this point.
@ Johnny
I will still be able to enjoy it just for the sake of fun but I couldn't appreciate it as much as I did before without having some kind of bad feeling. It's like finding out that the band stole it, just without breaking law. Kinda feels bad in a moral way.
