New album is tight af. Band is so consistent it hurts.

alright i listened to a bunch of the new album. i think it might be their best album. im not the biggest hammock fan there is, but i really like it. it has just the right amount of slowdive influence.

That certainly makes me excited, can't wait to jam it and Oblivion Hymns.

The sun is finally starting to shine in England and the new Hammock album has been PERFECTLY timed for it. I've not looked forward to a 50-minute drive home from work this much in a long time.

I've had the album in my iTunes library for a few days now, just need to finish their discography first. I'm jamming Departure Songs again now, which gets better with each listen.

Way too bloated but it has some stunning songs on there like Cold Front and Pathos so agreed.

The music is so light and uplifting that the length doesn't really bother me. It's not much longer than their others anyways.
|

it seems good but that length

the new album glides by, I was shocked when it ended the first time and realized it was a whole hour
very different than sleepover/oblivion hymns, but not in a bad way

So yea the new album is fucking incredible so far. Clarity is one of the best songs they've ever done.

unspoken, clarity, and we could have been beautiful again are fantastic but the simplicity of glassy makes feel all sorts of warm and fuzzy
