so I was seriously underwhelmed with this album for the first half dozen or so spins I gave it, and I came back to it today, and my fucking lord did it click, like just gloriously. The best word I can think of to describe this album is immense.

yeah i've heard that this album clicked quite suddenly for a few people as well; i had my moment walking home from a binge drinkin night. from that point on, this album has really been the best thing ever.

jammed on the train this morning and when "waitress" came on i started thinking "fuuuuuck i hope frances doesn't fuck her voice from doin this kinda thing". i mean her voice straining thing seems more forced on this one, like she's really pushing for it and it's not just "fuck my physical wellbeing" punk spirit.
