I'm not even being sarcastic. Give this band a male frontman that faux screams occasionally and no one would hesitate to label this post grunge. And there are several critics (who liked the damn album) who talk about the grunge influence, especially from Nirvana.



Never been a fan of bands that tried to do Nirvana after Nirvana. This is no exception. It just happens to sound more like it than anything that has been released in a while.

Alright, whatever. I really hate perpetuating genre arguments, but plenty of people acknowledge the heavy grunge influence on this. And I'm really not even using the term post grunge as an insult.
