agreed im listening to an album not watching the fucking titanic i mean its different if its at least like some sprawling experimental concept record or some shit but hip-hop is one of the most repetitive genres out there (not a bad thing at all just a fact, beats are repetitive, rhyming is repetitive) so when its significantly over the hour mark its just like ok this has run its fucking course.

i think just in general i dont like my albums to be more than 50 minutes. anything between 35 and 50 is ideal as long as there is no filler and it is solid quality front to back. when an album is on the shorter side of things like that but is consistent throughout it is way satisfying to listen to and play on repeat for days.
