I got this album while on my hols in germany coz i heard broken wit amy lee and thought it was good. But having listened to the original broken i think that the original is miles better. I didnt listen to any other album for ages!! IMO they are one of the best sounding bands in the world!!

That's cool. In my opinion they're an absolutely horrid band with a completely un-original sound and style. They get alot more attention and credit than they deserve, and Remedy is probably the worst and most over-played song in years.

SOME of thier songs are decent, like gasoline and driven under, but they are pretty much just nirvana wannabes, they play alot of nirvana covers live to.

and Shaun sounds A LOT like Kurt Cobain, which isnt necesariily a bad thing, but can be, and Driven Under is probably their best song IMOThis Message Edited On 07.17.06

Amazing how I loath Cobain, but still think Shaun's voice is ever lovely, despite the fact this album is pretty bad. Karma and Effect rules however.

I dont know why so many people ont the first page bashed on Seether, yes they are intitiled to their own opinions, but I dont see what is so bad about their sound, i mean so they sound a little like puddle of mud its still different in many ways

How exactly does continuous radio play make the quality of a song dimish? "Yesterday" by the Beatles and "Stairway to Heaven" are two of the most played radio songs of all time. Are you saying they are bad songs because of their mass appeal?

no, because after a while it gets boring, and this is coming from a Seether fan, i hate broken w/ amy lee and cant stand remedy. just the continuous radio play makes them old. it is kinda like nickelback and there songs

Yeah, but you really don't hear them on the radio as often as a newer song by a band that's still around. Add unto that that both Led Zeppelin (other than the occasional blues swiping) and the Beatles were original bands, where as Seether is really doing anything new. This Message Edited On 08.14.06

What radio stations are you listening to? I Want You (She's So Heavy) is played every single day.

But I get your point. Stuff does get boring. That's why I haven't listened to the radio in years. LOL.
