Every single artist has their lovers and their haters, what's really important is the artist legacy and like it or not Yngwie explored the boundaries of new musical territories with this work.

@Kj

Haha go for it man!

@Captain

Well Yngwie has a very unique character, like Dave Mustaine or Ritchie Blackmore...But the music is always more important.

Haha Yeah Axl is a piece of work, but I honestly don't really care about the dudes personalities.

The only thing that probably pisses me off is racist concepts or lyrics.

a) blues/jazz purists

I don't think that's entirely true. Some friends of mine listen to Blues music exclusively and they don't hate Yngwie. They just don't like his music.

What I meant was I know many strict blues and jazz practitioners find him appalling, especially his Blues solos (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-SLFoJtOn2I). I didn't mean every single on hates him.

Frankly I think his blues jams rule anyway.

If you really want to check out quality neo-classical before it was mainstream, please listen to Uli Jon Roth. Amazing, musician, phenomenal guitarist, and overall an amazing person. His earlier Scorpions material is brilliant. With each decade, the man seems to improve and continue being head of his time. A true hero in the guitar community.

Very much so. The riff and solo in the middle portion of the song are awesome.

The only Malmsteen that I enjoy. If only he was better at writing songs.
