I think a 4 is appropriate. This was my 2nd Opeth album so it has tons of nostalgic value for me. Compared to the next several albums that followed it is nowhere near as good which is why I think I 4'd it. To be honest though, I think the albums that came after pointed out the flaws in this one for me. 15 years ago I probably would have given it a 5.

great album. I remember bein obsessed with Silhouette in high school cause it was freakin epic that a metal band had a track that was all piano. Got mixed feelings about Opeth over all but this album was definitely one of my biggest gateways into extreme metal
