thread is long :[

she doesnt do anything new anymore, she just sits in her comfort zone allowing her nonsensical vocal inflections and offputting timing that completely works against the flow of her music grow into a gimmick instead of a signature endearing style like it used to be and the music itself is grey and abysmal and homogenous, every song is this dry shmorgishborg of cry me a river ass sappy orchestral melodrama and they all sound exactly the same, nothing stands out, everything is bad
|
| |
she needs to develop as an artist but instead she is determined to milk her image and her career dry

homogenous
*homogenic
I get what you mean, I really do, but I don't see Vulnicura or Biophilia as Bjork in her comfort zone. The sound of Vulnicura could be considered homogeneous but since the album has a central theme and concept it makes sense.

Let's see what she does with the next one, and hope it doesn't take another 4 years.
|
| |
why on earth would having a theme or concept implicitly go hand in hand with being homogenous? that makes no sense.
also Biophilia is a different story. that album was decent. she was still doing the same old shit on it but it was much fresher than this Vulnicura bullshit. you can only beat a dead horse so long before that meat aint fresh no more. Bio was a freshly dead horse and horse meat is delicious so it was all good. Vulnicura is that same dead ass horse now that the meat is all spoilt and rotten and makes you fucking sick.
