Because that's what's mainstream, I mean they're not obscure and I'm not claiming that, but they're def not out there that much, nvm that they're way too opinionated to get air time

They're not "mainstream" in the sense that anyone could say "oh yeah ive heard of them" but they're far, far, far removed from being "underground" by any sense of the word. Considering they pool in 3-6 million views a song upload and that each of their subsequent album releases have clawed their way up the Billboard 200 pretty dramatically.

Given that I don't have a definition for music in between true underground and mainstream, I put the bands and artists in between in the 'p underground' section.
The internet forms it's own 'underground bubbles' and of course they're way bigger than they were before but the essence is still there imo.
E: Well if they got on the Billboard I suppose my argument is kinda invalid.

still fun to me. man i love apparently, such a great hook. brings back good memories but also mostly holds up. the ending track being a 15 minute speech is unforgivable though lol. bumped it down a full grade.
