It's hard for me to take a band seriously when their image seems to take a precedence over their music. Having a majority of your fanbase being made up of teenage girls doesn't help win me over that the music they're making has much value to me either. I think they're capable musicians, I just think they're slaves to an image and a sound because it sells shirts at hot topic.

From what I've heard I'd argue the opposite. I think their image is the most interesting and lasting appeal of the group. Everything I've heard seems derivative, a plagiarization of a plethora of influences, neither of which they truly excel at.
