There's no way this is actually a 3.5, right?

You'd be surprised I think this is actually really good. It's getting pretty mixed reception all around.

I see people jumping into conclusions and they just don't listen. If there was no backround info about Wright recording this in the 90's, would people say it's bad?

Not a fan of Louder than Words and I wish they had kept it solely instrumental but this is a really solid album.

@mongi louder than words is arguably the best on here. But ya i enjoyed this. Has some boring parts though.

@Torontonian I could argue on this arguably best song.

Louder Than Words ends the album, and the the band (sob) perfectly.

High Hopes ended their career perfectly, Louder Than Words is just a decent end

It's a great ending, no doubt, but I can find other songs I like as much (maybe even more) in this.

This was a fun listen. It feels very dated in places, but I guess that was to be expected.

I swear it's crazy how much more dated their post-Wall stuff sounds than their pre-Wall stuff.

Pre-Wall just sounds more 'organic' than Post-Wall, which in turn makes it sound more timeless.

Then again, most music made in the 80's and early 90's sound like they're stuck in those decades. Especially the 80's.

80s yeah, for sure. drum sounds and synths from the depths of hell. my deepest prejudices in life are against engineers and producers from that decade.

Digging this so far, it manages to avoid sounding too dated while still being very nostalgic.
