i sort of dislike how this review calls this 'simple'. i get it though - it definitely is very minimal compositionally, but cleverly constructed. the negative spaces and ambiance make it sound very mysterious and there are all these little nuances i've picked up on more with repeat listens. intensely depressing album for me to listen to, but sometimes that's exactly what i need
