Not sure how I feel about this album after one listen. All the ideas here are interesting but nothing really grabbed me...could definitely see this one being a grower. Will give it another listen tomorrow before I make any judgements.

I swear aside from when there were blast beats, what I heard of this sounded just like As I Lay Dying with different vocals. Maybe I need to listen again or something but I don't think I'm wrong

Yeah as I said earlier, that one riff sounds melodeath-y, but there's absolutely nothing else on the album that sounds like that one single riff section.
