" Like iced earth did with barlow when they re recorded songs from their first album (even though the original vocals rule)"

The rerecordings of those songs are stale and lifeless too and I can't imagine that any of the material here would be made better by LaBrie, especially modern LaBrie. Certainly don't want a modern DT production job on any of this stuff either.

Also, I looked into the situation with this album and Spotify. As expected, the reason why it's not on there (particularly in the States) is due to the fact that they broke their contract when they were with Mechanic. It has been reissued a great deal of times and it's on other streaming services anyway so it just goes to show that, once again, Sitar is full of shit.

I thought the production was great on this. Felt very comfortable in my ear holes

"LaBrie doing vox on this now would be a disservice to Dominic"

Yeah it would suck to hear someone else singing you songs better than you did.

It would definitely be great if they could rerecord this album now. Of course it would have been ideal for them to have done it in 1992 but better late than never

They probably didn't think of it in 1992 cos they were making so much great NEW music. Plus they're nice guys and probably didn't want to insult Dominici by having Labrie redo his vocals.

I like how you're just attempting to dodge everything I pointed out previously.

I wasn't gonna say anything about how you were so upset by a flippant remark I made in order to fuck with you, that you had to go research it, but if you really want me to... xD

If you wanna hear LaBrie singing this, there’s a full live performance of them performing it in 2004 for its 15th anniversary. Even if you don’t like Dominici for whatever delusional reason, his performance is way more fitting to the album and his voice has aged much better than Labrie’s has.

No, it's great praise since he's managed to actually preserve his voice whereas LaBrie has been shifting the blame from his own negligence to bad seafood for the last three decades.

Pretty easy to preserve your voice when you're a car salesman who only sings in choir and on karaoke thursday.
