^ Everything he does now was made for vinyl, literally. I still think the production is stellar even on the CD.

@Uranium: I'm having a very different experience than you sir. there are one or two filler tracks imho but for the most part I really enjoy the album. To be fair though I'm a big fan of old blues which is what he modeled himself on initially and I like bluegrass which is clearly what is influencing him heavily now so I'm happy with the way he's married the two. For me Nashville has been really good for him and I love how much shit he has constantly coming out of Third Man. He's not sitting around and bitching about the internet he innovating and finding where the money is.. not where it was. bit of a tangent but I guess the long and the short of it is that I'm in his demographic.

That's cool, omni. Nothing wrong with any of that! I can see why people like him. I love TWS and have for a long, long time. So yeah, keep on rocking in the free world.

Nothing here really tops I'm Shakin' or Love Interruption for me, but the title track comes close.

This album is not perfect (it's a bit too top-heavy, for one), but Jack White certainly remains one of the most interesting artists out there.

The only thing I ever listen to after Alone in My Home is I Think I Found The Culprit. All the good shits at the front of the album

Even if I'm not much of a fan of Jack's country fetiches, I find Lazaretto to be a pretty enjoyable album. Alone In My Home is probably my favorite here.
