Gimme Chocolate is catchy as hell but not terribly interesting. "Megitsune" and "Akatsuki" are my favorites. I just wish I could find info on the actual band...the girls are cute and all but give credit where's it's due. This could be offensively bad if the riffs and drumming weren't sick.

I mean obviously it's all about the three girls, but there's more than just the J-pop/metal novelty is what I mean.

I like you, also I used to know all the names of the backing band but I forgot them.

Probably something very Japanese-sounding that Americans don't have the ability to remember because they don't sound American enough.

megitsune is absolutely the best.. it's kind of a bummer that there isn't a single song as solid as megitsune

i like gimme choco a lot actually if only because that chorus is *ridiculously* catchy

i'd probably give this a 4 in a review but a 3.5 as my listener rating. like, this album's existence already knocks its score up

There's one reason why this is the case. For that song only they got a producer known as Yuyoyuppe who specalises in Metalcore mixed with Techno influences and Vocaloid. If he was on the songwriting team permently, you'll be getting more songs like that.

Damn, Calc's done his homework. "Rondo of Nightmare" is also pretty interesting. I'd be perfectly fine with this not becoming a fad because there's so much room for awfulness here.

Well idols are already a fad but if the fad of metal/J-Pop becomes a trend that would suck.
