She's for sure one of the greats. This one's beaut too though I will say that country Neko >>>> and for that reason Furnace Room through Fox Confessor are my favorites by her, with Blacklisted being a pretty major classic for me (though I haven't actually heard The Virginian or Middle Cyclone).

middle cyclone ain't country but it does have some of her best songs (this tornado loves you, people got a lotta nerve, vengeance is sleeping, magpie to the morning [which has an equally great alt version on the bonus tracks of this album], etc.)
plus it has one of her all-time best lyrics: "i want the pharaohs, but there's only men"

Gonna be cycling through her discog for sure here soon. I love country artists (cause again, dunno if I should call this country) that takes on heavy political themes and her critique on commentary on gender is super appealing. If she keeps that up across other albums, I can tell I'm gonna love it. Helps that the music ain't half bad either, obviously

before diving too deep into her discog you should take a little detour and listen to her live album the tigers have spoken. lots of non-album tracks and traditional country-type songs on there, but played with a rollicking live band. great stuff.
