I was told this band was if Thrice went post-rock, but from what I heard of Garden Window, I didn't really hear the comparison at all.

that comparison is more from the sound of their EP.

I see. Well, Thrice comparisons aside, I am about 4 tracks in on this and am thoroughly enjoying it so far.

fcckkk I just got my vinyl in the mail and I haven't heard it yet, but i broke my turntable when moving.... grrr...

and to me they sound like Thrice in the fire ep... that is pretty much all I can hear for comparisons

I've gotta disagree with this review in that Radiance is a great closer; the low point of the album is easily Perilous Love imo
|

Well this grew on me quite a bit. I hate eating my own words but whatever, the album really does have quite the stoner-rock atmosphere. It's just very subtle. I dare say I might like this more than Garden Window.

Yeah, this is definitely a grower; I love the way the have a really sludgy/grungy sound but play it atmospherically, still need to hear Garden Window

Anyone who likes this should check out their EP, Death of Day. It has some of their best songs.
