Gave this another listen the other day and it was still so mellow. I love both versions of this album.

I've always felt like that one yellowcard fan who thought ocean avenue was overrated. I enjoy the album, especially the first 6 songs, but I feel the album stops being interesting at points in the later half of the album.



I like this more than Southern Air, One for the Kids, Lift a Sail, and their two oldest ones, but so far this an album from them that I don't love nearly as much as others from them. (though I still really like it). Lights and Sounds is a better album than most people think of it as, it just wasn't a great follow up to this. Sure Thing Falling, Grey, and Holly Wood Died are still some of my favorites from them. When Through With Thinking, Say Yes is an amazing pop punk effort, and one of the only reunion albums I've ever liked. Paper Walls is an underrated masterpiece and is definitely my favorite of their albums. Yellowcard is a fantastic band.

I went to one of their shows back in the day, but that's really the only song of theirs that I know. Still, it's a classic.

always really liked the album cover of this. preferred it to the original cover for sure

it's pretty but the original cover is fuckin iconic at this point. really couldnt tell you whether i even like the original cover or not i think becuz i've just got way too much emotional investment in that album as it is.
