New album should stream sometime soon. Facebook said it would stream sometime today, but as of this posting that has yet to happen. Anticipation!

Does anyone else find it slightly weird how low the guitars are in the mix, though? I feel like I can hardly hear them--but even so, I can tell exactly what they're doing all the time.

In roots or Aura? I felt the vox were a bit low in aura at times

In Aura. The flutes are higher, and the drums even seem to have more presence. The guitars aren't at the forefront like in most bm so it just feels different than expected.

I can't believe I'm saying this but personally Aura was the best thing to happen to Folk Metal since Likferd...

Thats one fucking hell of an honor...

Not that knowledgeable on folk metals but I'll take your word for it given I 4.5/5'd it.

I would probably give that honor to the last Finsterforst album, or maybe Moonsorrow's Kivenkantaja. I

don't listen to much folk metal either though.

By Kivenkantaja I meant Verisakeet, I think Kivenkantaja was released the same year Likferd was.
