It's definitely the best-sounding of all their albums, it's got probably the best production and many of their prettiest songs
But idk I really love the sprawling nature of this one, as messy as it gets at times, it adds so much character to the album

I still love The Magical Mystery Tour the most since it's so fun and psychedelic, and has my favorite Beatles song on it ("I

I actually like "Don't Pass Me By." The violin and organ are cool and it's really sentimental. Is it a highlight? Nah, but it's cute
in a good way, just like a lot of Ringo tracks.
"Brithday" on the other hand is, oh god the way that Paul sings "I would like you to dance" is just awful. or "It's my birthhday
too yeah" like what the hell was he thinking...?

adjusted to the standards of the song, but it's enjoyable nonetheless.

i actually think a lot of their albums are grossly overrated tbh, like sgt peppers, which is a mish-mash between superb songs and boring ones. true there's some filler here, but far more hits. i feel like the second disc is overlooked
