Guy and Tom are great producers, but like Justice's AVD, it falls short simply cause they can't match the talent that
goes into a full band's end product. At least Daft Punk succeeded more than Justice.

I mean, should we hope he creates new flaws of the record, so that he can talk about them and bring something new to the table? This is an analysis of the music and the hype existing around it, and I see nothing wrong with his analysis
No, the album is what it is. No point fabricating or forcing arguments that don't work. But approach it from different angles, as to me the review reads like a carbon copy of past Daft Punk album reviews and stuff I've already seen written about Random Access Memories. So while this is his first review here, I'd like to see a fresher approach if you're putting out a review for a big name album like this prior to its release date.

Don't get me wrong tho I'm glad daft punk didn't make a Discovery or God forbid a Human After All because tons of
soundcloud producers are emulating that sound (and well). I think they are in the right direction but if they are gonna
aim for that organic sound on their next record (i.e. in 10 years) they should rely on other musicians more.

the other albums definitely seemed aim for a signature sound that they wanted to convey across the album, while not being too homogeneous, if at all.
what I don't get is that this album doesn't seem to have a signature sound yet definitely seems quite homogeneous at times.

I really didn't want to immediately disregard your review, but after that corny anecdote in the beginning it was always going to happen. Considering that you're still driving to high school, I assume that you were unfortunate to grow up in an age where "Electro House" ruled the Dance Music Charts. Needless to say, Electro House is a much different animal than the type of music that Daft Punk have been producing for the past 15+ years. EDM music doesn't need a drop every other minute to be relevant which is what many presume. Daft Punk have always been repetitive with their songs considering that it's danceable music. Go listen to their best album "Homework"...same concept.
If repetitiveness is a problem for you then don't listen to daft punk. Stick to god-awful dubstep like Skrillex. I myself actually appreciate the new funkier genre they worked with in this new album. The drum beats are spot on, the synth use is sufficient, and the album has really catchy songs!
