i just read the facebook comments on the link to the stream for this album and i have literally never seen so much praise for anything ever. the ass kissing is absolutely ridiculous, my word. i don't think i read a single negative comment. like, wow.

I see the album's ambiance as something that creates a mood or emphasizes the emotional impact. TesseracT does this better than any band I've heard.
Clearly you guys don't feel the same and that's a respectable opinion. I'm curious in what exactly you expect of the atmosphere. How can they "capitalize"?

Well, the fact that you don't have this ranked as a 5 would suggest that you do not think it a
masterpiece either.
As I have stated previously where I believe this release falls down is that it attempts to reach out
of the confines of the corner they paint themselves in to, but the means of doing so are a by-the-
numbers musical progression that while executed proficiently lacks any true substance beneath the
initially pleasing textural aspect. Once the texture has been absorbed and stripped back it is just
another "djent" release. But this time with sax.

My main gripe with this album is kind of the same though.
They released way to much material before the album came out. 4 trailers, 2 singles and a 1 full song.
That's like 20+minutes right there, and the album is only 50 mins long.
Can't get over how good the production is on this tho!
