"Overthrone" really sounds like Mastodon circa Blood Mountain, the vocal melody is almost identical to that of Capillarian Crest.

Yep still shreds all these years later. Hopefully they're working on new material! They're playing a show soon so I think things are maybe ramping up.

New one was decent but I'm having a harder time wanting to get back to it for repeated listens, the loss of their guitarist seems to be felt pretty hard bc a lot of the heavier incredibly earwormy riffs that were rampant on the first two albums seem gone entirely and it leans a lot more into the mellower psych side.

Ok checking their latest record now, got recommended by Tidal. Sounds awesome so far, guess I gotta discog run these fellas.

I get to see these boys again tomorrow!
