My girlfriend literally dragged me to come and see him live, he was good, played bout 7 songs off this album, i prefer Vai, Lukather and Petrucci though.

i have two satch albums. I've seen satch do some of the songs that i have in G3 concerts. Personally, i think he's MUCH better live
than in studio.

Steve vai i think is just the reverse.

G3 Live in Denver was amaze-zazing.

Did I mention G3 in Denver was like a religious experience.

I saw this guy live and was the best show i have ever seen. i've been to many metal shows, but just standing there and listening to his music was better than moshing and headbanging at even the best of metal shows. And marty friedman is good, but Satch is so innovative and mixes many styles, wheras Friedman is a metal guitarist without that much different styles. Don't get me wrong, Friedman is amazing.

errrrr marty friedman is one of the most unique and influential metal soloists of his time nd still is. Lets just put it this way, he spanks hammet so hard tht his hair line retreats 2 inches every time hes compared to friedman.

friedmans best known for his work with megadeth...if u want to hear some of his solos check out Megadeth's Rust in Peace or the work he did in the band Carcophony alongside Jason Becker.



Btw i compared Hammet to Freidman because they were both in very similar bands and in identical genres

This is his best album in years. I cannot wait till the G3 show in Chicago. Satch, Petrucci, and Paul Gilbert!. Not to get off topic, but has anybody else seen the drill technique Paul Gilbert uses, it's amazing.
