Yeah, make sure you check Sit/Resist though. A Record is really decent, but to get the hype and her music you should listen to that one.

A Shine to It will always be one of her defining songs. Landslide/The Dig gets me every time too.

I was away for the Sit Resist tour with Andrew Jackson Jihad

they aren't doing Vancouver on the Wheel tour



not fair. I'll catch them eventually, but I would have liked to have seen certain songs that they won't be playing anymore as their discography expands. I watched the shit out of the live videos that surfaced of Telluride months ago.

and alas, "and the Cans" has finally officially been dropped from the name in the sptunik database. it's ironic that they're making this change now because this is so much more of a full-band effort than Sit Resist was.



ah well, they'll always be Laura Stevenson and the Cans to me.
