A big part of it is that they pretty much gave up on harsh vocals. They fit a lot better with this kind of music IMO

meh harsh vocals or no harsh vocals, there's never an abundance of them on an intronaut record, and i thoroughly enjoy taking this journey.

This album is great. Definitely on par with Valley of Smoke, if not better.

this definitely feels more refined, like they found a sweet spot and went with it. I think VoS is more all over the place.

One can not simply ignore sub-par vocals
This was a setback in the previous album too.

Sacha's dirty voice is excellent I don't get why they got rid of all the harsh vocals.

Agreed, the previous comment was for their clean vocals.

This album is too dense to appreciate completely on your first listen. Not as concise and flowing as Valley of Smoke, I think. Haven't totally made up my mind yet.

Decent music. Don't hate it, don't love it. Don't read too much into my ratings. I also hate the Sputnik descriptors for ratings. A 3, which is 60% equals good? There's a big difference between a 3 to a 3.5 to a 4 to me, and I disagree with how they are described. But who gives a shit.
