Possibly the best album ever made. DEFINITELY and BY FAR the best Foo Fighters album. Wasting Light can go fly a kite in comparison. This is how the Foo Fighters rock hard, and rock good, and memorable, not Wasting Light.
That's a good rock album, but not a great Foo Fighters album.

Although I prefer the band's debut album by a margin, this album has some seriously good moments on it. The covers of 'Baker Street' and 'Requiem' are well performed, as are the singles 'Monkey Wrench', 'Everlong' and 'My Hero'. I think the album could have done without 'Doll' and 'Wind up' personally.
