"One Day This Could All Be Yours" is just massive. The slowly building tension and cinematic suspense. Mind-blowing.

Not sure if i want that. For live shows yes, but a possibly mediocre record could destroy their legacy. Also for anyone who doesn't know, Mike Vennart (vocalist/guitarist) has his "solo" project Vennart, which is 3/5ths of Oceansize anyway, and they play some 'size tunes sometimes

That album he did a year or so ago is a beauty. Better than a lot of Oceansize for me.

I definitely want that. I don't think these guys could have a bad record in them.

Vennart doesn't cut it for me. I liked their first album but their last one didn't grip me much at all, and boy did I want it to.

No way. The second Vennart was quite a bit better than the first and pretty much an Oceansize record, maybe minus the post rock mostly. A lot of people (Oceansize fans) who were mild on the first one, loved the second one

Even if they did a 3.5 type of album, that would be a no for me. I just don't think it would cut it, and the guys have just gone different ways. It simply wouldn't work

Yeah idk, I just found Blizzard monotonous and there just weren't any melodies or builds or anything that pulled me in. And Oceansize is one of my favourite bands ever, so believe me, I really wanted to like it Might check it again soon just to see if anything new clicks.

Oceansize doesn't seem like the kind of band that would get together again just for the heck of it. If they ever do, I think they'll come out with something great.

Women Who Love Drugs is such a masterwork of a song. It's difficult, nay impossible to imagine something more perfect.

Forgot how totally flooring the bridge in Amputee. What a performance (even if it was dumb to call it the best on the album, smh that review)

Women Who Love Drugs is the best song, lads. Amputee is WAY up there though, probably top three.

Yeah, those two plus Catalyst are the best, but Women Who Love Men in the top spot is non-negotiable

Whenever I listen to Long Forgotten I think it's their best closer, but then it ends and I remember Ornament exists

Don't dig the stadium rock like vocals, the rest is absolutely amazing
