Amazing record indeed. I love that it starts with a Leonard Cohen cover, his first release with the Bad Seeds. And then, “Cabin Fever!” kick-starts the new chapter, probably my fave on this one.

The funny thing is I've heard that Cohen album in-between my first stint with this and my current one and assumed the 'hang on, this sounds more familiar than I was expecting' was just my razor sharp memory data-mining rather successfully
Bumping this up. Gritty vibes. Retains a bit of ye old Birthday Party noise rock bent and has some nods to (future) classic Cave song-writing staples / story-telling
